 Gridiron West 2011-12 Schedule ReleasedThe Gridiron West 2011-12 schedule has been released. The first exciting development is the introduction of a newhome ground for Gridiron West in the northern suburbs of Perth. The venue is within the huge Kingsway Regional Sport Centre on Hepburn Ave in Madeley. The Kingsway Regional Sport Centre is currently undergoing amulti-million dollar upgrade by the City of Wanneroo. The fields Gridiron West will be using underwent complete redevelopment last summer including new grass fields, reticulation, fencing and lighting and will be used by the Kingsway Olympic Soccer Club in the winter months. Gridiron West will continue to utilise Hilton Park (Ken Allen Reserve) on Jeffery Stin Hilton as the league home ground in the southern suburbs of Perth. The season will also see several Friday night games beinghosted by the West Coast Wolverines in Padbury and the West Coast Fire in Gosnells to continue the community development in these areas for these clubs. |
