The Board of Gridiron West would like to take this opportunity to recognize and personally thank the following members of the GW Community for their substantial efforts in helping to secure funding for GW through the Department of Sport and Recreation (DSR) for the 2011/12 financial year.

• Ian Bellinge – Member of the 2012 AGL National Champion WA Raiders, former GW Treasurer and member of the Curtin Saints.
• Les Edwards – Previous WA Raider, Curtin Saint, League Official and long standing member of GW.

These gentlemen volunteered extensive hours of their personal time in vetting GW financials and bringing our records up to date and aligned with the requirements for the DSR funding. Through their efforts and support of this task over the past ten months, GW was successful in securing these much needed resources for current and future GW projects.

The funds will be earmarked to the benefit of our membership and help continue our significant growth and success with gridiron in Western Australia.
